South East Photography try Photo Noir

November and we have just launched our Photo Noir photography as an option for nurseries. Photo Noir is very simple lighting with a black backdrop and is shot as black & white. The finished results are described as timeless and classic. Time will tell if the idea is successful.

South East Photography at Paws in the Park dog show 2011

September saw us back for the second year at the Paws in the Park dog show. This year it was held at the Kent County Showground. You could certainly tell that there is a recession on. Our takings over the two days were significantly down on last year.

Good luck Banna…

Sometime last year we put together a small portfolio of photographs for a young lady named Banna. It was amazing how the shy young girl that first walked into the studio finished the session more like a seasoned pro! The final images were really remarkable compared to the ones at the beginning. You can see the final pics on our portrait portfolio page. She is the one wearing the furry hat and also the hat with stripes and pigtails.

Having not heard from her for sometime it was great to get an email thanking us for all we had done for her. The big news was that she had just signed a contract with Nintendo Games to appear in a TV commercial!! Not bad for a shy little 14 year old. Good luck Banna.

They have been involved in graduation ceremonies at some of the top universities around the country since the 1600s. I know that there was no photography then but they provided the gowns and mortar Boards! Something which they still do. John’s work will take him all over the UK at various times of the year.
